Sacred Taoist Sex Secrets- the Taoist Tantra

"Qi" (also pronounced as "Chi"), the Chinese word for life energy, is the force within our bodies and within the universe that engenders all life and all things. The word itself has many translations, such as energy, air, breath, wind, or vital essence. There are 49 cultures around the world that understand the concept of Qi in one form or another; examples include Ki (Japanese), Prana (Sanskrit), Lung (Tibetan), Neyatoneyah (Lakota Sioux), Num (Kalahari Kung), and Ruach (Hebrew).

@primavera.yoga

It is understood that Qigong ("energy work") heals and purifies the physical, emotional, and spiritual energy fields of our bodies. As such, it transforms the self from deeply ill to radiantly healthy. Self-transformation then is a form of alchemy, where something base is turned into something beautiful.
Within our body, there are various natural energetic forces for healing and spiritual growth. Sexual healing is an important and profound aspect of healing and purifying that is almost completely neglected in the West today.
The Taoists view that sexual relations between male and female are the primary earthly manifestation of the universal principles of Yin & Yang. As such, the Chinese regard sex to be as natural and indispensable to human health and longevity as rain falling on the fields is to plant life.

@primavera.yoga

The intense sense of guilt attached to sexual matters in Jewish-Christian tradition is, in Chinese eyes, one of the most unpleasant and incomprehensible aspects of Western culture. Sex was considered a natural part of life.
During Qigong practice you use your concentration (based on your intention or desire) and your breath to activate and move your internal energy so that blockages are removed. These blockages cause pain on many levels, including the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual. Once the blockages are removed through regular Qigong practice or via the direction of a Qigong healer, one can release great inner tension and can begin to finally fully heal on all levels.
As you become better able to sense (increase your awareness of) and move your Qi, you will also be able to move your sexual energy, or Jing Qi, as well. The ability to expand and move your sexual energy allows you to transform your sexual energy into Qi, or life force, which will give you a great deal more energy as you live your life in the world. And when your energy is strong and your intention is clear, your Qi is transformed into spiritual energy, or Shen.

Taoist texts described many special sexual positions that served to cure or prevent illness. The Quan Zhen Pai'm ("Perfect Realization School") Taoist school sought immortality through meditation, breathing exercises, bathing, gymnastics, sexual arts, medicines, chemistry, and other means.
Fángzhong Shù, literally "Joining Energy" or "The Joining of the Essences", is the Chinese name for the way some Taoists practiced sex. An important concept of "The Joining of the Essences" was that the union of a man and a woman would result in the creation of jing, a type of sexual energy. When in the act of lovemaking, jing would form, and one could transform some of this jing into qi, and replenish the lifeforce. By having as much sex as possible, one had the opportunity to transform more and more jing, and as a result would see many health benefits. They believed that by performing these sexual arts as a spiritual practice, one could stay in good health, and eventually, with some other spiritual or alchemical practices, attain immortality.

Scientists say that regular intercourse can cut the chance of a heart attack or stroke by 50%, significantly reduce the risk of prostate cancer, and give your immune system a boost. So both the ancient Taoists and modern experts agree that staying sexually active can increase both the length and quality of your life.
The major Taoist sexual techniques include teaching how to master the differences of sexual arousal of male and female, harmonizing the sexual will and desire, and liberating and activating the female while relaxing the male. These techniques can be used to prolong the sexual act and contribute to the pleasure of both partners. Emphasis was placed on breathing techniques (qigong) during sex to prolong a man's orgasm to make a woman orgasm several times to gain her yin essence.
In all the ancient Chinese sex manuals, woman is always depicted as the guardian of sexual arcana and the supreme source of life-sustaining essence and energy. In these texts the woman plays the role of the great initiator and teacher of sex, while the man is described as a sexually ignorant bumbler (as most modern day men have become thanks to a lack in education and the idea of sex being nothing but recreational entertainment, where the woman is just a fantasy object). This condition may explain the deep fear and resentment that many men harbor toward women.
Sexual practices help relax the nerves and increase blood flow; the more relaxed you become, the more easily Qi begins to flow. Sexual alchemy becomes possible as the body rejuvenates and transform one's self into a younger and healthier person. It also allows you to increase your physical pleasure and intensify your orgasms, especially for the woman in a relationship. Healing Love practice offers a practical method to access and integrate the two most powerful healing forces in the world: real love and sexual energy. These practices can increase your feelings of love and invigorate your body and soul.
A beautiful Tantric wedding of my friends @primavera. yoga IG

One invigorating sexual practice is called Tantric Sex. In China, Tantric Buddhism developed that called for engagement with the natural processes within the world and shared much with Taoism. Tantra challenged the acetic beliefs of that time, purporting that sexuality was a doorway to the divine, and that earthly pleasures, such as eating, dancing, and creative expression were sacred acts. Tantra is over 1600 years old, and like yoga, it originated in India. The word Tantra means "tools for expansion. or "to manifest, to expand, to show and to weave." It is a set of teachings and practices that are specifically designed to help us feel more, to increase our awareness of our own energy, and the energy around us. One path that Tantra uses to these ends is the exploration of sexual energy. Tantra uses such techniques as keeping one's eyes open during sex; prolonging foreplay slowly; sharing each other's breath, and creating an intimate space to interact in.
The goal of Tantric sex is to allow us to experience more depth and breadth in our sexuality. The goal is not necessarily to orgasm, but rather enriching the whole sexual experience. In Tantra, like Taoism, there is the idea that the smooth flow of energy in our bodies can get stuck somewhere in the system, becoming blocked from moving freely or depleted for a variety of reasons. The tantric practice works toward keeping the energy flowing through us smoothly and naturally.
BECOMING ONE
So how does all this Taoist wisdom translate into advice for modern people?
Cultivate your own sexual energy. Take time to breathe into your pelvic area filing your lower abdomen with qi down to your pelvic floor.
See sex as an energetic exchange with your partner. Sometimes this is lively and sometimes it is peaceful. Take the pressure to perform off yourself by seeing sex as one more way you and your loved one connect.

Pursue the kind of holistic health practices that bring balance to your body such as acupuncture, massage, and meditation.

Have sex. Make time to connect with your partner in this way. It’s good for your relationship, it’s good for your health, and if the Taoists are to be believed it’s good for your spirit.

@primavera.yoga “Sex essence is the source of all energy available for creative and thinking processes (shien).”

Genuine trust develops that brings long term love, affection, and devotion. A couple can then finally become intimate with each other in the true sense of the word; each one connecting more fully and trusting that one is in complete support of the other. The result is complete joy and gratitude with oneself, one's partner, and the world. Tantric sex brings one on a spiritual path that is devoted and dedicated to the challenge of becoming aware, in every moment of our embodied lives, of the supreme flow of the sacred lifeforce itself—the Sacred Unity of Love.

The fifth chakra, the throat chakra

When I first heard about the chakras they felt a little esoteric. But once I began to learn about them, as well as the concept of energy and energetic pathways running through the human body, the chakra system began to make a lot of sense.

Chakras and chakra system – 7 energy centers that live in certain areas of our bodies and relate to certain life experiences:
• 1st chakra – sex center: pelvis, genitals, legs, feet, buttocks
• 2nd chakra – lower belly: beneath the navel and sacrum area on the back
• 3rd chakra – solar plexus: center of the body between the belly button and end of Sternum and center of the back.
• 4th chakra – heart: center of the chest between the nipples, breasts, armpits, arms, and hands, back between the shoulder blades.
• 5th chakra – throat: neck, Adam’s apple.
• 6th chakra – third eye: center of the brow, between the two eyebrows, end of nose and back of the head opposite the brow, linked to the Pineal gland in the center of the brain.
• 7th chakra – crown: top of the head and above the head.

@primavera.yoga

Today, I’d like to touch upon the inner workings of the fifth chakra, the throat chakra. This is the chakra that’s found in the subtle body near the throat. In Sanskrit, it’s known as visuddha.

It’s an important chakra to learn how to balance—especially for those of us who have a hard time speaking our innermost truth. If you have a difficult time expressing yourself, pay attention. The fifth chakra attributes include listening, speaking, writing, chanting, telepathy, and any of the arts- especially those related to sound and language.

For knowing more about the Mantras, you can check my article

In this article, we’re going to explore how to develop and balance our throat chakra, in order to find and express truth.

The fifth Chakras

Each chakra corresponds to various parts of the body. Your throat chakra is said to govern the vocal cords, upper lungs, ears, mouth, and throat, as well as the thyroid and parathyroid glands, the neck, jaw, tongue, and larynx.

Every chakra is also related to an element. The throat chakra is ruled by the element of ether, or space. (The element ether, called “akasha” in Sanskrit is the first of the five great elements -earth, water, air, and fire-. It comes first because it is the most subtle of the elements. Often referred to as “space,” (or spirit) it is the essence of emptiness. It is the space the other elements fill. The element ether represents a world of vibrations- the emanations of living things that we experience as the aura, as sound, and as subtle plane of whispered impressions on the mind into which our more solid realities are enfolded))

There are also various seed, or bija, mantras related to each of the seven chakras. The one that enhances throat chakra healing is HAM.

Hans Jenny - Cymatics - sound waves produce patterns with remarkable similarity to forms found in the nature, such as spiral galaxies, iris and pupil pf the human eye. so amazing and make you think how sounds effect the minute cellular and atomic structores in our bodies

How to Tell if Your Visuddha Chakra Is Imbalanced

When your throat chakra is working optimally, your ability to express yourself and communicate freely and clearly comes naturally. You find it important and easy to speak from your highest truth.
When the energy within this chakra is flowing freely, you also have a way of listening deeply in order to understand the truths of your loved ones.

When your throat chakra is blocked or unbalanced, communication problems arise. You may find it difficult to speak up or have problems listening to others. When we notice these issues, it is best to spend some time healing and balancing your throat chakra.

Pranayama for Visuddha Chakra

To help open visuddha chakra, you’ll want to commit to a regular pranayama practice, and preferably one that’s geared specifically to the throat chakra. Some of the best ways to open this chakra are to practice the lion’s breath and ujjayi breath. Both of these techniques warm the throat area and stimulate energy around the throat chakra.

Bumblebee breath is yet another technique to work on. Notice how your throat is stimulated when you practice bumblebee breath. Choose one or two of these techniques—whichever ones resonate with you. Then practice them daily, perhaps before or after your asana practice or before your meditation.

Yoga Asana to Open Visuddha Chakra

Every yoga posture helps open certain chakra centers within the body. As such, you can craft entire yoga sequences around a specific chakra. The best postures for vishuddha chakra focus on the throat and include:

Bridge pose (setu bandha sarvangasana)

Camel pose (ustrasana)

Plow pose (halasana)

Supported shoulder stand (salamba sarvangasana)

Even simple neck rolls are great for the throat chakra. The neck much of the time acts as a filter between the abundant flow of energy between the mind and the body. This causes it to be extremely subject to tension and stiffness. Loosening the neck is an essential beginning for any work on the fifth chakra. You can also massage it with your fingers.

Head lifts help to stimulate the thyroid gland and helps strengthen the neck. Lie flat on your back and relax. Slowly lift your head, leaving your shoulders on the floor, so that you are looking at your toes. Hold this position until you feel the energy move into the beck.

Use your own knowledge and intuitive powers to work this area of the subtle body.

Chakra Meditation Music to Unblock Throat Chakra

Vow of Silence

Listening is an essential and too often overlooked component of communication. Yogis often take vows of silence for extended periods of time to purify their vibrations of audible sound and better tune into subtle sounds. By avoiding verbal communication, one can open up other avenues of communication, namely communication with higher consciousness. You can try a Vipassana retreat.

Consider How You Might Find Your Truth Through Visuddha Chakra

Knowing what you know now, consider how you might better find, and then speak your truth through visuddha chakra healing.

You’d be surprised how listening to yourself brings forth answers you never thought were there. The practices of journaling and meditation help you get in touch with your own intuitive powers.
You may want to use a journal to brainstorm the following questions:
Where am I holding back in terms of speaking authentically?
Is there a particular relationship that needs healthier and more truthful communication?
Do I always speak my truth? If not, in what areas of my life and with whom can I work on this?

Bridge Pose @primavera.yoga

You may also want to bring mindfulness to every word you speak. You can do this by pausing before you open your mouth to say something. During the pause, ask yourself, is what I’m about to say really true? If the answer is no, don’t say it. If the answer is yes, carry on.

You’d be amazed how bringing a sense of mindfulness to your speech really opens up your communicative skills, helping you better speak the truth in any and every situation.

Have fun finding your truth, and remember to be patient with yourself. Chakra balancing is a process and should be treated as such.

The Human Design

The quarantine makes me interested in more and more areas that I have not touched on yet or it was not the right time to touch them.

I heard about Human Design many years ago, but I didn't research in depth, I knew I was a generator and that's it. About two weeks ago, I came across a free course that explains everything (it is in Hebrew, if someone want, I can send him a link). And I discovered something new that can teach me more about myself and my purpose in this life, and then you don't look for changing yourself. sometimes to grow is just to except who you really, but really are J

What is Human Design?

The Human Design System is an empirical science. It is a synthesis of ancient wisdom and modern science. It combines astrology, the I Ching, the Kabbalah´s Tree of Life, the Indian chakra system, genetics and quantum physics. Using a person´s birth data a so-called rave chart or body graph is created. In the body graph you can see a person´s unique potential and challenges in amazing depth and detail. This blueprint allows people to realign with their very own and unique life path and purpose.

Conscious and unconscious traits, personal interactions, and challenges in all human experiential fields (i.e. psychology, nutrition, communication, politics, marketing, business world, economy, human resource management, relationships, sex, family life, parenting, etc.) can be explained mechanically so creative solutions can be found.

Human Design does not tell us to live by new rules and believes in order to get a better life, quite to the contrary it states that any statement can be challenged and tested. The knowledge is validated through experience, through experimenting with it in life…
Ra Uru Hu (born Alan Robert Krakauer) is the founder of the Human Design Systems.
The BodyGraph is a map of genetic code that shows how our energy is here to correctly engage in the world. Have you ever wondered if you are using your energy, your life force correctly? When you look at your BodyGraph, you see how your energy is designed to “mechanically” navigate the world.

What is the intent of Human Design?

Ra Uru Hu, the founder of Human Design, says: At the very least people will get a sense of relief when they understand their design. Say someone comes for a reading and they are beating themselves up because they like to spend a lot of time alone. Maybe their friends and family think there’s something wrong with them, that they’re anti-social. When I look at their design, I see that they have ten lines of the Hermit and some gates of aloneness (in other words, they are designed to spend a lot of time alone). We have all of these mental stories about how we cannot be ourselves. Just .simply understanding how you are hardwired is so helpful. We are not designed to be alike!

What are the different types and their Strategies?

Strategy types:
Generators
Generators represent about 70 percent of the population. They are the life force of the planet, the builders. They have a defined Sacral center (more on centers below) and an open and enveloping aura that is constantly pulling life to them. Their Strategy is to respond, as opposed to initiating. It’s a sacral response (this can be sacral sounds, body movement, etc.) that lets them know if they are available to give their energy to something or not. When Generators initiate from a mental place (instead of waiting for this response), they can end up feeling deeply frustrated and degenerated rather than regenerated and satisfied in their life and work.
Projectors
Projectors represent about 20 percent of the population. The strategy is to wait for recognition and invitation. Their focused and penetrating aura gives them the ability to see deeply into others. When invited and recognized (i.e. they feel appreciated and seen), Projectors are here to be our most gifted guides. Their openness leaves them vulnerable to conditioning (more on this below). If Projectors are focusing on the wrong people and have not been really recognized, this can lead to exhaustion and bitterness. Projectors need to learn to be very discerning about engaging their energy. They are natural at mastering systems, and when they use their energy correctly, will experience success in their life and relationships.
Manifestors
Manifestors represent about 9 percent of the population. As natural initiators, their Strategy is to inform those around them of their decisions before they take action. Manifestors have a powerful impact; their closed and repelling aura can make others feel off-balance and want to control the Manifestor. When a Manifestor shares with others, this naturally relaxes those around them and removes energetic resistance, allowing them to initiate in peace. Manifestors can be an initiating catalyst for the other types, too. When they are moving through life without informing others, Manifestors can end up feeling angry as a result of the resistance they experience.
Reflectors
Reflectors represent about 1 percent of the population. If you have all of your centers open then you are a Reflector. You have a resilient aura that samples the energies around you and reflects them. The way in which the Reflectors process experience is very different from the other types. Because their chemistry magnifies everything and everyone, Reflectors have the potential to see what is happening in a way that no one else can. Their greatest gift is to read others and their environments. When they are healthy and in the right place, Reflectors experience the wonder and surprise of life. If, however, Reflectors end up identifying with what they are mirroring, they can become exhausted and disappointed.

What open centers are?

We are always putting out energy and we are always taking in energy. The nine centers of the body are energy hubs that transform or transmute our life force. When a center on your BodyGraph is defined or colored in, it is fixed and reliable in the way in which it functions and operates. The centers on your chart that are white are open. These undefined centers are not broken or empty, and they do not need to be fixed, but they are the places where we are most vulnerable to outside influences. We can learn from them and gather wisdom, but we shouldn’t make decisions from these centers. We’re constantly conditioned through our open centers as we engage with life. Conditioning is not something that needs to be
avoided, but it can become an issue if we take action based on it.

For example, For example, an open root center: The root center is a pressure center associated with the adrenal system and the production of stress hormones. It is a source of fuel or a physical pressure. The Not-Self question (asking it shows the opposite of your true self) for the open root center is: Am I still in a hurry to get rid of the pressure? When I am being run by my open root center, I am rushing around at Mach speed, maybe talking too fast or driving too fast, or completing a six-week deadline in six days. The amplified pressure in my body is very uncomfortable, so I want to get rid of it as fast as possible. My mind will make up a story that says if I move faster and get that thing done, the pressure will go away. It’s such a joke because the pressure always comes back! The pressure in and of itself is not a problem, but when I attach mental stories to it and believe those stories, my energy is all over the place. Constantly acting on this amplified pressure can result in accidents, serious energetic burnout (adrenal fatigue, anyone?), and overall poor decision making.

That is something that Generator with a close (colored) Spleen center can say, but not everyone is supposed to make decisions based on their own intuition. Because it is their part that is influenced by others and change consistently.

Breath is life

"Prana, the vital breath, is born of

the Self. Like a person and his

shadow, the Self and the Prana are

inseparable. Prana enters the body

at birth, so the desires of the mind,

continuing from past lives can be fulfilled."

PRANA UPANISHAD

@primavera.yoga  Lev Hamidbar, Israel

There is a well-known saying that "breath is life." When the breathing process ceases, life is quickly extinguished; yet people take breathing very much for granted. When a baby is born, the first breath is vital. If there is any obstacle or delay, the child will die. At the other end of life, the last breath marks the individual's departure to another dimension. Between the points of birth and death, there is constant breathing, which in most people are totally unconscious.

The Yoga teachings stress the supreme importance of breath. According to ancient Yogic texts, the average healthy adult takes 21,600 breaths during the course of a complete day and night. This means an overall average of fifteen breaths per minute, or one breath every four seconds. In fact, a person generally breathes less frequently when at rest and more rapidly during extreme exertion.

Love-making produces an increase in the rate of breathing, comparable to the effect of a hard run or prolonged jogging. A particularly energetic burst of love-making creates all the physical symptoms of an athletic breakthrough; the heart pounds and the blood rushes through the veins. Eastern mystic teachings stress the value of prolonged lovemaking in conjunction with deep and controlled breathing.

According to Yogic tradition, life expectancy is linked to the frequency of breathing. This certainly seems to be true of reptiles and mammals; the tortoise breathes very slowly and lives long, whereas the mouse breathes fast and has a very short life. According to the Gheranda Samhita, a Yogic sourcebook of the medieval period, "By decreasing the frequency of breath, there takes place an increase of life energy; by increasing the breathing rate, life energy is decreased."

Another important Hindu text, the Shiva Samhita, states: "The body of the person practicing the regulation of breath becomes harmoniously developed, emits sweet scent, and becomes strong and beautiful. The wise practitioner surely destroys all his Karma, whether acquired in this life or in the past, through the regulation of breath." Many Yogis devote themselves exclusively to gaining conscious control of the breathing function, believing that by doing so, they can become masters of their destiny.

Right now, without changing your normal breathing, place one hand on the region of the abdomen, just below the solar plexus. See whether your breathing reaches down that far and notice whether the abdomen is distended on completion of inhalation. Natural breathing should work this way, with the lower region protruding as the breath is drawn in and contracting as it is expelled. However, most people breathe contrary to a natural way. Generally, the breath is drawn in only to the region of the chest. Also, many people breathe only through the mouth, instead of through the nose, and under physical exertion, they pant through the open mouth. The long-term effect of such breathing is a loss of the ability to concentrate, physical debility and heart trouble.

Tantric teachings declare that if lovers breathe in an unnatural way and exert themselves excessively, there is a real danger of premature aging, impotence, inability to climax, emotional and mental problems, as well as general physical debility. Both Tantric and Taoist texts emphasize that love-breathing should preferably be deep, from the diaphragm, through the nose, with the consciousness focused on the assimilation and retention of life energy.

How to breathe correctly?

First, be aware of the natural division of the breathing process. It has three parts: the in-breath, the retention, and the out-breath. The in-breath should be natural and never forced; air should flow into the body as a result of the expansion of the abdomen. When the breath is retained, the lower part of the body should take the shape of a pot; the Yoga term for this is kumbhak, meaning "container." The retention of breath is the point of greatest potency. During this period the inhaled air is partly absorbed by the lungs, vitalizing the whole body. The out-breath or exhalation rids the system of waste and surplus products.

Tantric teachings advise that during inhalation one should imagine oneself absorbing the life-giving energies of Brahma (Brahma is said to be the creator of the whole universe). During retention, one should focus on extracting the life force of the air and circulating it through the whole body. During exhalation one should imagine all negativity, physical ailments or tension leaving the body and returning to the earth for purification.

These three parts of the breathing process should interact smoothly, without any harsh or jerky movements. Furthermore, one should cultivate mental awareness of the movement of breath in and out of the body. It is the conscious retention of breath that is the most crucial element. Conscious breath retention strengthens the circulation and reinforces the subtle connections among all parts of the body.

the yoga helps me to go back to my breath and feel it deeper in every movement

The healing Breath

The complete breath—conscious inhalation, retention, and exhalation—is the first step toward using the breathing function as a means of Liberation. Having established a healthy and harmonious pattern of breath, one can then advance to specific breathing rhythms. The healing breath, for example, a ratio of inhalation to retention is 1:4:2, retention lasting four times as long as inhalation, and exhalation lasting twice as long as inhalation.

The in-breath establishes the measure for determining the other two time periods. At first, make the period of inhalation slightly longer than normal and proportion the periods of retention and exhalation accordingly. Then gradually increase the measure of inhalation, adjusting to it the periods of the other parts. The result of this practice is a slowing down of the breathing process, which relaxes and heals both body and mind.

Never practice the technique of the healing breath to the point of physical strain. If you feel dizzy or tired, or if your heart starts beating rapidly, you are overdoing the practice, so make it easier. The aim of all Yogic breathing exercises is, ultimately, the prolongation of retention, which leads to supernormal powers and the "burning up" of all Karmas.

I love the energy of the desert @primavera.yoga

Breath and Tantra

Any couple wishing to experience the ecstasies of Tantric love should first develop the complete breath until it becomes totally natural. Then the healing breath should be practiced, so the vital and subtle channels of the body are purified and strengthened. This prevents physical or emotional damage from the high intensity and energy levels of Tantric love.

One of the most important aspects of sexual union is the sharing of a breathing experience, for emotions are directly linked to the breath. True physical love produces a total convergence of the breath rhythms of the couple. This experience holds the key to tremendous power. Various other breathing techniques are also helpful in preparing a couple for Tantric lovemaking. One secret technique, known as the Crow-beak, consists of rolling the sides of the tongue inward and protruding it slightly, all the while inhaling air through the tongue and letting it fill the "pot" of the lungs and lower diaphragm. Retain for as long as possible and then exhale through both nostrils. According to the Shiva Samhita, "When a person drinks air through the Crow-beak at both the times of early morning and evening twilight, all diseases or physical weaknesses are destroyed. This practice leads to the powers of clairvoyance and other miraculous abilities."😊

For a video that explain Crow-beak breath click here. (try it also alone).

Prana and Apana

Yoga traditions constantly refer to a fivefold division of breath, called Prana (life force). It is said that just as a king employs officials to rule over the different portions of his kingdom, so the original Prana contains four other Pranas, each assigned to rule over a specific bodily function. Of these five subtle breaths, the original Prana, which is upward moving, and the Apana, which is downward moving, are particularly important. Tantric Yoga aims to reverse the flow of these two life currents, causing them to combine and bring about a total transformation of the psycho-organism.

@primavera.yoga

Exercise
-Imagine the air entering through the nostrils as if it were a fluid less dense than water.  Draw it into the body by creating a pot shape in the lower abdomen.

-When the process of inhalation is complete, switch to the retention and imagine that all the bodily openings (ears, eyes, nose, mouth, anus, etc.) are sealed. Imagine the air dividing into five parts, taking on the nature of the Five Great Elements (space, air, fire, water, and earth) and nourishing the different parts of the body.  During the period of conscious retention try to extract only the best parts of the inhaled breath.

-Then switch to exhalation and imagine all impurities, negativities, or physical ailments leaving the body and returning to the earth for regeneration. 💗

Breath control is vital to the correct practice of Tantric or Taoist love-techniques. Breathing exercises should never be practiced immediately after a meal or after heavy exertion. Generally, it is best to introduce conscious awareness of breathing into your life gradually. Don't be afraid of the power of breath; rather, learn to use it carefully. With the breath as your ally, ecstasy is within the reach of you and your partner.

If you want to know more or if you have a question, please write to me in the comment below. Soon I will write a new post about other types of Pranayama breathing techniques that you can try.
