6 Skincare Mistakes Influencers Make

Do not put those during flights and always look on the expiration date of the mask @primavera.yoga

1. Apply your skincare during flights. Do it before the flights. take off your make up, put a good Serum and then use moisturizer, an heavy cream cause on the airplane it is like the desert (so dry). Why you are not supposed to treat your skin on the airplane? Cause it is so dirty and full of bacteria and then you put it on your skin, Also sheet mask is so bad to put it on the airplane, you make your skin more dry when you take it off, cause there is no moisturizer n the air. It is much better to do it before gry into the airplane.

2. Incorrect skin care products. You just spend money on products without doing the right things in the right order, and you can also damage your skin. Start by using water-based products and end with the more heavy creamy ones, then only in the end you can use oil.
3. Putting eye cream/oil all over the eye. That will irritate your eye. You just have to TAP it on your orbital bone with your ring finger and on the eyebrow area.
4. You have to do a lot of research before doing the treatments and cosmetic procedures with Laser, cool sculpting (it is really dangerous and can damage your nerves), injections, etc. Check reviews and side effects before anything you do, and also read about the doctor, don't trust anyone.
5. If you start early with treatments and surgery, you just gonna look older. Keep it simple.

6. Using products with fragrance (good smell). It can irritate your skin, even if it is not irritating now, it can be develope over time. I know it is nicer, and most of the products have fragrance, but It is not good for your skin. Also, a natural fragrance like essential oils is not good for the skin too. Finally, now they start to understand it and many companies started to make products without editing fragrance to their products.

Also in the flight, you have UVB raise, so it is so important to put sunscreen.
After the flight also take care of your skin. renourish it.

The best advice is to ask your aesthetician what is better for your skin cause we are all different. (And please don't listen to what you see on youtube)
Another Big mistake, Peptides are not recommended to be used simultaneously with AHA-acids – (acidic pH is undesirable for peptides), and peeling should be done prior to using peptides.

HOW TO Minimize the Look of Stretch Marks

Stretch marks can occur during pregnancy of course, but also as early as puberty from growth spurts. They can show up later in life during periods of weight gain, and even crop up when you’re doing the most, aka working out and getting those squats in.

Leros, Greece @primavera,yoga

Stretch marks are completely natural. They are not a negative side effect, just a totally normal part of the growth process in life. There is nothing we can do to rid ourselves of them completely, so we say embrace them! The best way to treat your stretch marks is actually to love on them—exfoliate, stay hydrated, stay active, and get good blood flow. .
The scientific term for stretch marks is “striae.” Striae are technically a type of scar, caused by damage to the elastic tissues and collagen in the skin following rapid growth, according to this study. Since scars are a permanent molecular change, you can only reduce them, not reverse them. And because scars and striae are much more pronounced when skin is dry and unhealthy, it’s smart to keep your skin ultra-moisturized.

While it goes without saying that hydrating from the inside out is crucial, i.e. drinking plenty of H2O, it’s also important to eat moisturizing foods. Moisturizing foods are different than hydrating foods—which are also important—i.e. watermelon, cucumbers, apples, other high-water-content fruits, and veggies. Healthy fats and foods abundant in vitamin A are all moisturizing foods, like fish (take your omega 3s!), avocados, nuts, olive oil, and sweet potatoes.

Antioxidant vitamins C and E play a big role in skin health as well, so eat and supplement your C and E to see results.
The best emollients to keep your skin looking healthy contain ingredients like coconut oil or shea and cocoa butters. You may have heard that the myth that cocoa butter “gets rid of” stretch marks has been totally busted, and that’s true. nothing can get rid of stretch marks. But these natural emollients work double-time to create a protective barrier over your skin to prevent water evaporation from the dermis, keeping things looking supple and even.

Try to use also Green Clay, The clay helps one to get rid of scar tissues and stretch
 .marks easily and effectivel

Clay Powder, Pure Powder for face and body
Now let’s talk lasers. Fractional CO2 lasers are not just the hottest fad, they’ve been studied and tested, and the results are significant. The results are most dramatic on fresh, red stretch marks, requiring several sessions over the course of three months or so, but this is the closest technology has come to reversing these fresh stretch marks completely. It’s also shown to reduce the appearance of older stretch marks by 50%, making it the most effective treatment, but at no small cost.

Daily Wellness routine

Wellness to me is about a holistic view of looking after yourself emotionally, physically, and spiritually, and finding what works for you because we are all different. Finding balance in all areas in my life is important—including setting aside time for myself to do things that bring me joy. That way I feel that I can give more of myself to others or what I happen to be working on at the time.

My everyday Self Care routine

Regular Skincare Routine:

In the morning, I use LA Roche-Posay aqua micellar as a Cleanser, and after LaRoche-Posay Milk Sensitive. I don’t use a cleanser which will make me use water on my face cause the water dries my skin (I have very dry skin). Then I will use Dr. Hauschka facial toner, also amazing advice I got from my esthetician in Milan, it is closing my pores and ton my skin. Then I will put a serum, moisturizer and eye cream, and then of course sunscreen 50spf, that is my favorite one: La Roche-Posay Anthelios Mineral Ultra-Light Fluid Broad Spectrum SPF 50

Almost every evening I will do a facial mask (I am trying each time something else). I will do another blog on my favorite products so far.

: Meditation & Pranayama

Regular meditation helps me stay calm and centered. I try to meditate at least once a day. In the morning, it helps me to set my intention for the day, so I start the day with a positive mindset. During my yoga classes, I will add a 5/10 min of meditation time at the end of the class. The yoga practice (Asana the correct name) the purpose is to make you able to sit in meditation and to feel comfortable in this position with a clams mind. It also good to meditate at night it’s great to let go of the day and unwind for a deep, restful sleep. At night before sleep, I usually do a guided meditation (each time I'll try something else).

: Dry Body Brushing

Each morning before showering, I dry brush my body I use this one. I find it’s the best way to help get the circulation going, remove any dead skin cells, and energize my body. I start at my feet and move up my leg with quick strokes, then gently on to my arms, brushing toward the heart. Once a week during my shower I will do a scrub for all my body (without the face) with black coffee and coconut oil. After my shower, I apply coconut oil or almond oil over my body. I like to heat the oil and sometimes I will combine it with castor oil (in the Ayurveda they say it is detoxifying). I like also to massage my stomach only with castor oil before bed, it makes your stomach flat (also ayurvedic .secret). The oils also can help with flexibility especially the back bending

: Facial Massages

Another step to my morning and evening beauty routine is gua sha facial. It’s a Gade heart-shaped stone used to massage your face and neck to stimulate circulation and reduce puffiness while lifting, toning, and sculpting your face. I use this technique daily for a five-minute facial massage with the Face Oil, as it also helps it absorb deeper into my skin.

: Exercise

I I also think it’s important to exercise regularly and to move your body, so I try my best to schedule some sort of exercise every day. I like to mix run/ bicycle with toning and elongating the muscles (I am obsessed with HIT workout especially with Lisa-Marie Zbozen- on YouTube ). I love to sweat. Usually, I exercise at least 1 hour each day ,not including the yoga practice.

Living for 3 months in Bocas del Toro doesn't stop me from exercising every day, also in the local gym

Me Time :

I feel that it’s important to take a little time each day for yourself. I need to learn something new, read books, and just reflect. I love walking by the beach even just for 10 minutes. Also, I like to leave my phone at home.

Prepare for Sleep :

Sleep is so important for our overall wellness. Incorporate a little nighttime ritual to help yourself wind down from the day and to encourage a restful night’s sleep. I like to do a meditation, turn off the Wi-Fi, and then I mist my pillow with lavender essential oil, as the aromatherapy is very soothing and relaxing.

How do you engage your mula bandha?

The  bandhas   are shrouded in mystery. And for good reason! Like the  chakras , you can’t see them with the naked eye. Mula bandha is on...
